About the event

We are so excited to launch in Melbourne and share The Art of Shibari!

May we come together in unison and explore the realm of the sacred in a safe and sensual way.

Consider this an invitation to sink into presence and delve into new ways of connecting with self and others. Immerse in the act of conscious giving and receiving through the ancient art of Shibari. Rediscover pathways to your internal landscape and learn how to work with the subtle energies as we descend into a meditative state, connecting through the senses and energetics of rope.

Embracing the fundamentals of the practice, we will move through foundational knots, ties and binds to teach you the foundation of connecting through rope and intention. This space facilitates a deepening into awareness and will leave you with a Shibari practice that you can adopt with yourself or share with others.

This class is focused on beginners but is open to all levels. *No experience needed*

There will be opportunities to self tie or practice with a partner.

Rope will be provided but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them.

This is a non-judgemental and non-discriminatory space, please respect this and those around you.

I honour the land and elders of which I share my craft upon - The Gadigal and Bidgigal people of the Eora Nation. Paying respects to their continuing connection to the land, water and culture and giving reverence to their spirit, past, present and emerging.

What to Bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Rope (if you have)
  • Comfortable/tight clothing
